Schedule of Actions Between Dr. Mugraby and BAB
1. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB: Beirut civil judge, case #514/99, for recovery of unlawful dues (for club to be formed).
2. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB: Financial Prosecutor's Office, case #214/ 2000, a letter of information regarding the abuse of public funds directly and unlawfully collected by BAB pursuant to the one per mille public tax.
3. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB: Civil Tribunal of First Instance, Beirut, for a declaration that the annual meeting of November 19, 2000 is null and void for abuse of the procedure in the conduct thereof.
4. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB: Beirut Civil Judge, case #308/2001, for declaring Dr. Mugraby's offer to pay the BAB dues for 2001 regular and in full force.
5. BAB v. Dr. Mugraby: Criminal complaint for the alleged defamation of the president and council of BAB by the former president Mr. Lyan registered in the public prosecutor's office in Beirut on November 19, 2001. Dr. Mugraby has been indicted in this complaint. No date for the trial has been set.
6. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB et al: Civil Tribunal of First Instance, Beirut, case #83/2002 on February 26, 2002 seeking an urgent order compelling BAB and its president to cease and desist from harassing Dr. Mugraby in this practice of law, to discontinue the alleged disciplinary proceedings, to declare the internal bylaws of BAB and certain other decisions thereof null and void, to declare that all the said acts and decisions null and void, and to declare the nullity of the alleged disciplinary board and the liability of the defendants for defamin Dr. Mugraby.
7. Dr. Mugraby v. Republic of Lebanon, BAB et al: General Assembly of the Court of Cassation, case #191/2002 dated March 1, 2002, for gross errors by judges Kadi and Madi in bringing charges against Dr. Mugraby based on the Lyan complaint and failing to comply with Article 79 COLP.
8. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB et al: The Beirut Court of Appeals, to review the alleged disciplinary decision dated April 4, 2002, suspending Dr. Mugraby from practicing law for three years on the basis of the same allegations of the above criminal complaint.
9. Dr. Mugraby v. BAB et al: The Beirut Court of Appeals, to review the alleged disciplinary decision dated January 17, 2003, deleting Dr. Mugraby from the roll of lawyers.
10. BAB v. Dr. Mugraby: Criminal complaint for the alleged impersonation of a lawyer and practicing law despite the abovementioned alleged decisions, purporting that the said decisions have immediate force and effect pursuant to the BAB internal bylaws despite the two actions under the right to appeal provided by Article 109 COLP and despite the civil action to declare the internal bylaws of BAB a nullity.
