A letter from a young Lebanese immigrant

Hello, My name is Tony, 22
Born and raised until 13 in Lebanon and now an acclaimed citizen of the USA.

I have a couple of questions that i would like answered by whom they concern,

1. In Lebanon, what are the Human rights Protected and assured by your association?

2. In Lebanon, what are the BASIC Human rights protected and assured under your jurisdiction?

3. Under what right & jurisdiction do you deny a Lebanese citizen. His freedom without legal proof of guilt?

4. If you do detain a person without probable cause or proof,(which you have in Moghrabi's case,? why should we, the new generation of Lebanon, residing inside and out of it, respect and honor your position, never-the-less your existence, in our collective government?

5.Do you understand that your standards, as low as they are now, and unfair practice of law effect each Lebanese person, abroad and within, individually and therefore have an effect on Lebanon and it's economy as a whole?

A person like myself has great hopes of coming back to his country and of helping build and restore what you and yours alike have destroyed. Now I am ashamed to think of that idea, because there is no place for me among people like you who care about nothing but their shallow souls and materialistic needs. Do you want money? will that make you think twice before ruling and executing laws upon your own ignorance and minimal understanding?

STOP PUTTING THE FACE OF LEBANON IN THE DIRT AND THE SHAME.
IT WILL ALL COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU, ONE WAY OR ANOTHER.?
at least that is what gives me peace of mind...

Never again yours,
Once, a Lebanese advocate and warrior...

Tony 22
