BAB: OK For Three Dutch lawyers To Represent Dr. Muhamad Mugraby

Beirut, December 19, 2003

President of BAB, attorney Salim Al Osta, stated today that three Dutch lawyers may represent Dr. Muhamad Mugraby, attorney at law, before all Lebanese courts. The three attorneys are:

-Leo Spigt, former president of the Bar Association of the Netherlands.
-Willem van Manen, president of the Foundation of Lawyers for Lawyers.
-Phon van den Biesen, the president-elect of the Foundation of Lawyers for Lawyers, and former attorney for Bosnia-Herzegovina before the International Court of Justice at The Hague.

The above-mentioned lawyers immediately filed a request to postpone the hearing before the Beirut Court of Appeal, Twelfth Panel, until all the documents in the file are translated and reviewed.
